Dinosaur Park in Rapid City, S.D.

Dinosaur park is one of the places we stopped at while on our vacation. Rapid City was our last stop. We visited family there and saw other fun places as well. Just wanted to share a few photos from this neat little place. 🙂

Dinosaur Park is located at 940 Skyline Drive on 20 acres and is home to historic life-sized concrete dinosaur figures. It is a very popular destination for tourists and local residents alike. Skyline Drive is a scenic roadway that runs along the hogback ridge that divides Rapid City geographically east and west. The dinosaur figures, constructed in the late 1930’s, are listed on the Register of Historic Places.

It was a little bit of a walk/climb to the top!

It was a fun little place to see. It was also FREE! Yes, free is always great, right? 😉
