Let’s Talk Movies

Well, I wanted to update about some of the movies I’ve seen lately. Since my hubby and I both have a queue on NETFLIX, we get movies all the time that we both like! 😉

I just recently rented “The Hills Have Eyes”. Now let me first say this. I thought it would be a weird, odd, kind of thriller. So I get it. I really pay no attention to the front of it, which says “uncut version”. Well, I’m not even an hour into this movie, and I just couldn’t watch anymore. I turned it off, put it back in the sleeve it came in, and sealed it up to be mailed back.
OH MY GOSH, it was so sick and disturbing. I mean, really….I just could not believe my eyes. It was thoroughly disgusting. I can’t believe I rented that movie!! Then…..that night and the next day, I could not get some of those images out of my head. Truly disturbing!! 🙁 Maybe I’ll read the movie description better next time. Here I thought I was renting something quite different.
NOTE: This was the newer version of this movie…a remake. Not the old one….

We watched “Bewitched”. I thought it was cute, nothing fabulous though…LOL! (My hubby agrees). Before that I watched “Memoirs of a Geisha”, which my hubby didn’t want to see. It was EXCELLENT! I loved that movie!

So, “Underworld Evolution” just came yesterday, and we’re both excited to see that one. We loved the first one! 😀
