Well last night my friend (& next door neighbor) Darla & I went to look at trees to plant on the boulevard in front of our houses. We narrowed it down to 4, then finally chose 1. We both decided to go with a Freeman Maple Tree. They look really nice, and will grow big, & provide nice shade. 😉
Afterwards, we went to Hooligans and had some nachos & a couple of drinks. We had a blast, it was lots of fun! 😀 It’s really nice to have a neighbor that has a daughter around the same age as Jacey (she’s just a couple of weeks older), and for us to have so much in common. Even our hubbies get along great! Isn’t that something!? I think it’s great! I mean, we came to N.D on a house-hunting trip, and was not here for that long. We fell in love with this house, and knew it was a new, and very nice neighborhood. It wasn’t until after we moved in, that we found out that there are LOTS of kids around Jacey’s age in this neighborhood, and that everyone was REALLY nice! We think we chose well! 🙂
Ok, so right now I just finished up making some rice krispy treats! *yum* I LOVE those things…I just know they won’t last around here for long. Ha ha!
Jacey just woke up from her nap, is having lunch and watching “Go, Diego Go!”
I need to upload a few pics that I took…shut the windows around here, and switch the air on. It’s getting hot! Gonna be 85 (or higher) today!
