4 months old!
Well, as of yesterday [July 16, 2008], Jadyn is 4 months old. I can’t believe how fast time is flying by! She is getting so big, and interacting with us more & more every day! Just a few days ago, we gave her, her first taste of baby rice cereal. At first, she gave us that look, like what the heck is this? But then after that first bite, she seemed to like it. *blush* It was so funny watching her smack it and push it out of her mouth..lol! I have pics on Flickr, if you’re interested (F&F).
So last night I went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things, like milk and coffee mate. I decided to go to Toys R US, which is right next door. I wanted to look at and price exersaucers. I ended up buying Jadyn a Bumbo Play Tray for her bumbo seat, and a new bedding set for her crib. This set is so cute, and was on CLEARANCE for $12.98. I thought to myself that I MUST get it! lol When I went to pay for it, it rang up only $10.00! How cool is that!? It is a really pretty set, too! It will match her room perfectly. I’ll have to post pics of it later. *wink* I love finding bargains! *face*
Well, I will continue my search for the exersaucer I want. Some are just too overpriced for something that you won’t use a very long time…but at the same time, I want a nice one that’s cute, too! lol

Yup saucers are expensive, thats why we kept Kadi’s. hehe We did buy a new set of toys for it though.
My advice, look on craigslist for one and then order a new set of toys. The entire set of new toys for Kadi’s was $30. But for a $150 excersaucer it was well worth it. I’m pretty sure a regular saucer set won’t cost as much, her is the deluxe or something with the toy bar and all.

I don’t know much about exersaucers, but Iris has a couple of Jumperoos (the jungle one at my mom’s house, and we just bought her a horsey). We paid $50 for the horse and it clippity clops & plays a couple of songs, Iris goes nuts bouncing up & down – she’s gone for 45 minutes or so before. Her legs are so strong, I think she’d love to walk if she could.
I love the bedding – I saw the pictures you posted on Flickr. Way cute and what a deal! I think I paid $150 for Iris’ whole bedroom set, which was actually pretty cheap compared to a lot of the stuff I was finding. I love the Pottery Barn Kids’ stuff but it is so expensive!
