Swim Lesson Update!

Jacey’s last swim lesson was yesterday (Thursday). They seemed to go by so fast! She had a blast as always, and even got a little progress report at the end of class. It said that she did very well, listened to the instructor, and was respectful. It did say that she is not 100% comfortable in the water, and would benefit from taking this level again. (Level A). Jace & I happen to agree. She’s come a long way, and has learned a lot, but we think that this class again could only help her. (Which is what the instructor said, as well.) *wink* She has only been in a pool of this size a few times, so it’s totally understandable. Anyways, overall, she passed pretty much everything…except for the part where she jumps in the pool with a life jacket on her own. HA HA, I knew that wasn’t gonna happen anyway…not at this point. 8 lessons….25 minutes long, with 3 other kids in her group. Ummmm…that breaks down to around 6 minutes of Jacey with her instructor…per lesson. Not really a whole lot…but she has come really far, despite that. *blush* I think we will sign her up again for the fall class. *wink*
We wanted to start her in gymnastics this fall as well, so we’ll have to see what classes are available, and the times slots that are available.
