Dr. Appt. & more..

Monday I took Jacey to see her pediatrician because it seemed like just overnight, her left eye just became really bloodshot! Sunday it started becoming red, then Monday it was just completely red. Her doctor said that she could have bumped her head, near her eye, or something of that nature. He ruled out pinkeye, which I knew it wasn’t in the first place. He said as long as she wasn’t in pain, and wasn’t sensitive to light, that it would clear up. It’s just one of those things that can happen. Tuesday rolls around, and now her right eye is getting the same way! I called him and spoke with him on the phone, and he said the same. Give it till Friday to see if it starts clearing up…as long as she wasn’t in any pain and sensitive to light. Her eyes are both so red, and look horrible. They are only red because of the blood vessels, the area around the eye isn’t swollen at all. It’s so strange. She recently has come down with a cold, around the same time her eyes got red….so I wonder its it’s related? Maybe it’s from the coughing and sneezing? But she really isn’t coughing THAT bad or sneezing THAT much. It’s really odd…and I know that she didn’t hurt herself, like hit her head or eye….as I would have known. I mean, unless it was so minor that she didn’t complain…Anyway, I’m waiting to see what they look like when she wakes up this morning. I really hope they look like they are clearing. *sure*

UPDATE: We made Jacey another appointment today. She says her throat hurts, has a terrible cold, and occasionally says her left eye hurts. Hopefully this is something only cold related(?) and nothing more serious. Please keep her in your prayers!
