A Diaper Dilemma
So last week I went to Wal-Mart, on one of our weekly trips to get things like diapers and such. We use the White Cloud diapers sold only at Wal-mart. Can you believe I go in there and there are none in sight!? I walk over to a lady that works in that department and ask her about it. She proceeds to tell me that they will not be getting them in anymore, and it’s not just this store, but the WHOLE district! She says she has no idea why, just that they will no longer sell them. WHAT!?! This was the only diaper really that could stand up to overnight wetting, AND it was the lowest price diaper. We loved this brand diaper! She told me that a lot of people were not happy about…and I can totally understand why…I’m one of them! Grrr! I think I need to fill out some comment card or something and try to find out why these stores aren’t selling them anymore. What a bummer!
So this is what I did, I bought a small package of LUVS and a small package of Parent’s Choice. Both leaked. The LUVS are really terrible-because they seem to leak not just overnight, but during the day, too. Geez…maybe I need to give Pampers another shot…we’ll see….

If you’ve got a Target nearby, try their store-brand diapers. They’re pretty good. Also, we had to switch our son to Huggies overnites at some point (I think about 1.5 years?) because there wasn’t a diaper made that could handle the overnights…
We use and love Huggies, with Adam. Had a few bad batches with Kadi that led us to change to Pampers cruisers, which we also loved.
I think Sam’s club sells the white cloud ones, not exactly sure though. You may check. You may just have to switch to a larger size at night. No clue what else to tell you. Good luck!
Iris wears a weird combo of pull-ups, Luvs, and store brand. If you have a Walgreens, their store brand is similar to White Cloud. We have to use the “overnights” diapers at night – not because the normal ones leak, but they get wet enough that it wakes Iris up – the overnights seem to keep her more dry.
I HATE it when a store discontinues a product that you love, our Walmart quit carrying the Great Value brand popcorn chicken and that stuff is better than the Tyson, it makes m so sad 🙁
