So I stopped using Yaz. I’m on my 5th day without it now-and let me tell you-I feel better! I was wondering why I felt SO exhausted by 3 pm in the afternoons… I mean– hardly any energy–just so tired! Now I know it was the YAZ. The very next day after I stopped taking it, I felt better… with more energy-and every day since.
I kind of thought it might be the Yaz making me feel that way-while I was taking it–but I really wanted to give it a shot. I wasn’t even finished with my 3rd month of pills-when I quit. I am so glad I did, though. I am feeling so much better! 😉
Side effects I know now was from the YAZ pill:
Extreme Fatigue
Sharp Chest Pains
Slight Weight Gain
Headaches

Sorry the Yaz didn’t work out for you, but I am glad you’re feeling better!
I take Yaz too. I’ve been on it since last summer. I’ve gained weight since then (but I have PCOS, so I just figured it was that) and get bad headaches every couple of weeks. I wondered about the headaches and was going to ask my doctor what could be causing them, but now I think it could be the Yaz. I’ll ask my ob/gyn if I can go back on Yasmin instead.
I’m glad I came by your blog. 🙂
