Snacks & Healthy Eating
So I decided that I’m going to buy a food dehydrator. I would love to make dried fruits, fruit leather & jerky for my family. I don’t know why I don’t already have one…LOL! I decided on the Nesco brand American Harvest (square) dehydrator. It looks nice-and got lots of great reviews!
If any of you have a dehydrator…and would like to share any recipes with me….do share! 😉

First of all Sandy, let me say that I love your new blog! The autumn colors are beautiful.
I too love dried fruit. It is so healthy as opposed to sugary snacks. And when you make it at home, you can control it’s sweetness, which is an added plus.
Many years ago, I went to a garage sale a family was having for an elderly woman that had passed on. They were selling ALL her things. She had this brand new dehydrator in a box. Never used. I bought it and for some reason never used it. Shame on me right? I ended up moving and giving it away to someone. Now I have my little girl and I wish I had it still. I’ll just have to buy a new one. Let me know how yours turns out and if you would recommend it.
