Snowflakes

Hi Sandy! You had commented on my blog a while back regarding SHaun the Sheep. I kept meaning to reply……so here it is! :

I couldn’t find much birthday-wise either. I was going to try and print out a Shaun extra large, put him kid-height on the wall and do pin-the-tail on Shaun but we had time constraints. There’s one site you can print out masks. I did do black, white and yellow balloons but after they were blown up I thought they were ugly (just not very pretty for a kids party! I think the black balloons had a grayish tint to them so it made them ugly) if I did it over again I would do balloons in primary colors. Shaun cupcakes would have been cute too (Martha Stewart has a cute sheep cupcake on her site). I’m very happy with how the cake came out though. Ava knew exactly who it was. I saw something in a parent’s magazine once where they took large pieces of craft paper and covered a table. They had drawn hills and water and barns, etc. with roads going around the cake and the bowls of chips, etc. It was something like that and very cute! You could make sheep cupcakes and draw a corral for them on the paper. Maybe if you type in just “sheep birthday ideas” in to google you’ll get better results than “Shaun the sheep birthday ideas”. I hope I helped a little:)
