It has been nearly 5 years since my little girl Jacey was born. This is the year she starts Kindergarten and I am a little sad and excited at the same time. Sad that she is growing up so fast-I wish she would slow down a little…LOL. Excited because she loves to learn and make friends-and I know she will enjoy Kindergarten so much! 🙂 I am excited that she is so excited!
This past Wednesday evening-I went and got her preregistered. Registration is in the summer, this was just a time to get the paperwork filled out-and submit things like her birth certificate and immunization records. Preregistration lasted just under an hour-as we also watched a video-and got to get ourselves familiar with some of the staff at the school. Things are a little different here. I though Jacey would attend Kindergarten at the Elementary school, but instead-she will attend at the Kindergarten Center. A school just for Kindergarten. Kindergarten is separate from Elementary here. Something I didn’t know-and only just found out at preregistration. (Which is totally fine by me!) 😉
So in the upcoming months before Kindergarten starts, it will be in the back of my mind at all times-that this is THE year! My baby girl will start school in the fall. Time surely flies.
