Vacation Post

Wow-I haven’t blogged in awhile! Time to catch up, I suppose! 🙂
Just a couple of weeks ago we took our summer family vacation. We visited Rapid City, S.D. We had a pretty full (& fun) vacation. We started off on the road to Sioux Falls, S.D. We stayed at a hotel there overnight, to break up the trip to R.C. The hotel had a cool water park for the kids, and the girls just loved it!
The next morning (July 4th), we got the girls dressed up in their red, white & blue, and we were off! We made it to Rapid City a few hours later, but not before going through the Badlands and stopping at Wall drug. 🙂
We made it to our hotel, but this time we had a suite with LOTS of room. (YAY!) This hotel also had a really big water park area for the little kids. To make a long post short….we had the best time on vacation. We visited Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills Caverns, Thunderhead Underground waterfall, Flintstones Bedrock City, Bear Country, and a few other places. Phew! We were definitely making our rounds! 😉 We did a little shopping while we were there (a must!), and explored the city.
It was really a great time, and I have over 400 photos to prove it…LOL! Speaking of which, are all on flickr…but here are a couple from the Badlands. It was BEAUTIFUL there….
