Jacey had her 2nd Awana Club meeting last night. She was very shy at her 1st meeting when we dropped her off, but she is getting less shy each time she goes. Last night before she went, I talked with her about reciting her bible verse. They were given a bible verse to learn, and if they could recite it, then she would advance to the next book and also receive her “Sparks” vest. (The group she is in, is called The Sparks.) She can be shy at times, but I knew that she learned the bible verse, and was hoping that she would show her teachers what she learned without being too bashful. So when she came home last night all smiles with her vest and book, I knew she did it! Last night Jace actually took her and picked her up, while I stayed home and did some things around the house. 😉
I took a couple of pics of Jacey before she left with her bible, and I’ll have to post it soon! I am so proud of her!
