Making Crayons

Recently, my girls and I made homemade crayons. Well, not 100% home-made, but we made crayons from broken crayons. 🙂
This is actually our 2nd attempt. Months ago I made them and used tin foil to line the muffin tin, and didn’t like the way they came out. They just seemed bumpy and weird. This time I bought this tin at a thrift store (to use specifically for this purpose) and just sprayed it with vegetable oil spray. Much better! I also didn’t use any cheap crayons. I got rid of those and only used the broken “good” crayons. That made a huge difference, too. 😀

I think next, we will try and do different shapes! Maybe find a “heart” muffin tin. Perfect for Valentines Day, too! :heart:
