It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 2:22-23
Recent Thrift/Discount Store Purchases [books]
I love going to thrift stores! One thing I love to do is scan through the book section. Recently, while out–I found a few books that I have been wanting, (and some newly discovered while scanning the book section) for next to nothing! Here’s what I found!
——————————————
“The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren [$1.00]
I had this book on my “to read” list. I’m so glad I found it–and for a buck!!!
——————————————
“Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul” [$1.50]
I got excited when I saw this one…LOL! Another book added to my collection!
——————————————
“A Better Country–Preparing for Heaven” by Dan Schaeffer [.75]
——————————————
“Encounters with God” [.50]
A collection of stories. I like books like this as well.
——————————————
“Lady MacBeth” by Susan Fraser King [$1.00]
This one was purchased at Dollar Tree. 🙂
I am always on the lookout for bargains, no matter what type….but I do love finding book bargains. Especially since they can be expensive at full price…or get expensive if you read a lot (which I do). I do buy new books as well, but only after searching the internet relentlessly for the lowest price! Ask my hubby–it drives him nuts! 😮
