Play-Doh Play Dates

We all love Play-Doh right? I remember playing with it as kid, and having THE best time. Today, I have 2 little girls–ages 6 and 3.5, and they really enjoy it as well. In fact, it is one of their most favorite activities to do! I STILL love playing with Play-Doh, as does my husband…so we pull out the Play-Doh box and all the accessories quite often.

Did you know that on Play-Doh’s website there are all sorts of activities listed to try? Lots of fun things to do with Play-Doh and creativity. It called “Play-Doh Play Dates“.
We really enjoy visiting and trying out all of the activities. For example, there are step-by-step directions for making Play-Doh pizzas and calzones, as well as gelato! They also have sections for craft ideas and snack recipes, too.

My girls, my hubby & I recently made the Play-Doh pizzas. It was a lot of fun. My girls don’t normally like olives or peppers on their pizzas…but Play-Doh pizzas are another matter. They piled on the toppings and had lots of fun with it.

See the cheese and the olives? Green peppers and meatballs were added, too. Play-Doh comes in SO many colors–so these foods really look realistic!

The pizzas turned out really cute! After the pizza, we made desserts and sushi…LOL! It was quite addicting making those foods. Made us hungry, too! 😉

I also wanted to point out, that in the craft section of Play-Doh’s Play Date page, you can make cute little pizza boxes and a pizza menu & more. Your kids can create their own little pizza shop! Play-Doh definitely has come up with the cutest ideas to keep your kids engaged and entertained.

Let your kids’ (and your) imagination go wild with all of the different things they can make with Play-Doh! We had a great time with it–as we always do.
