I finally found the antiquing glaze I was looking for, after checking like 4 or 5 stores! In Menards, they had no idea what I was talking about (weird!), and our Walmart stores don’t carry it. I found it at Lowe’s. Anyway…I had 2 angel figurines that I found at Dollar Tree awhile back. They were completely white, so I thought they would be perfect for my little project. Being as white as they were, you could really see no detail at all, and they just didn’t pop. They were pretty plain! But after the antiquing glaze, it gave it an aged effect. All of the details were accentuated. I love how it turned out!
Now I just need to figure out exactly what I want to do with these! This was fun, and I have a few other items I want to “Antique” as well. 😉
