The Nutcracker

This past Friday was a very exciting time for Jacey & I. We went to see a performance of “The Nutcracker” at NDSU, performed by the students at The Bonnie Haney School of Dance. Jacey & I have always loved The Nutcracker, and all of the wonderful music that comes with it. It was such a fun time. In total, the show was 2 hours long. There was a part 1, a small holiday show in the middle, and the last part (part 2). The holiday show consisted of all sorts of dance, like Irish dancing, ballet, tap dancing, baton twirling & more. It was fun to watch!
Another exciting thing was that a friend of Jacey’s from church was in The Nutcracker, and she did a beautiful job. It was fun to watch her on stage. 🙂
I took a few pictures, but not as many as I would have liked. There was supposed to be no pictures or video taken, and yes I broke the rules….oops. I just wanted to have a few pics as a reminder of the show and our fun time together.

I am so glad we went. Those kids did an amazing job! The costumes were excellent as well. All in all a fantastic show! 🙂
