Summer time fun & Camp Good News!

Can you believe July is just about over? This summer we haven’t really taken a vacation. We went to Georgia for a week back in March–so that was our “big” trip. Before the summer is over we are going to take a small trip for a couple of days in the area, most likely to Dakota Zoo in Bismarck. That’s always fun! It’s a nice zoo. 🙂

So anyway, speaking of summer time fun, last week my oldest daughter, Jacey went to a day camp called “Camp Good News”. It was a 5 day sports sampler camp where she learned about basketball, volleyball, soccer & football. It was held at a church close to our own (right down the road from it, actually)…sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship. Every morning last week, I dropped her off at 8:45 & picked her up at 12:30. She had a great time. They had a half day of fun, with sports, snack, & bible study/story time. She LOVED it! It’s definitely something she wants to do again next year. Her favorite sports were soccer & basketball, although she enjoyed them all. 😉

This camp was for 6-12 year olds, so unfortunately Jadyn wasn’t old enough to attend. It did however, give Jadyn & I one on one time, though. 🙂
