Wrapping Paper & such!

So I went out shopping yesterday. I was on the hunt for wrapping paper, gift bags and the like. Since the stores seem to come out with all of this stuff earlier & earlier, I decided I would shop around and look for what I need.

Okay question. Tell me — am I the only one? Haha! Every year I like to have a theme or a color scheme when it comes to my wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, etc… My hubby thinks its a bit silly but I like to do things like this, have a plan, decorate, coordinate. [LOL]

For example, in years past I’ve had different looks for under the tree. One year all of the wrapping paper, etc…was pink & green. One year it was snowmen/blues. See what I mean? This year I am doing golds, reds and forest-y greens. Now this is not the tree and decorations themselves, this is only the color scheme of the papers and such that is under the tree. Yes, you may laugh…it might be a little weird. Or is it? I have to also add that I take pictures of just about everything! So these presents will be photographed all wrapped and pretty. 🙂

Do you do anything like this? I just think it’s fun to change things up….even the simple things like wrapping paper. I like to put forth a little effort, even into the little things. :o)

Oh, and I found some very pretty wrapping paper & gift bags. The stores I shopped at were: Big Lots, Walmart, and Dollar Tree. I like to scout out stores for the best selection & deals! 🙂
