Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?

Let’s face it, kids and adults alike may have lots of questions concerning dinosaurs and their existence. We know that they actually did exist, but what many people get wrong is how long ago they lived. I’ve done plenty of reading on this subject, and the one book that I live by and get my answers from is the Bible.

Read Job 40:15-24 in the Old Testament:

15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.

22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.

23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

In a nutshell (taken from the article)…

The age of the earth debate ultimately comes down to this foundational question: Are we trusting man’s imperfect and changing ideas and assumptions about the past? Or are we trusting God’s perfectly accurate eyewitness account of the past, including the creation of the world, Noah’s global flood, and the age of the earth?

Think about that one. The Bible is God’s words written. 100% true and 100% reliable. Words that should never be misconstrued. We should not add to it, nor take away from it. Of course you won’t read the actual word “dinosaur” in the Bible, because that term came later. In reading the Bible and calculating the timeline and age of the earth, it is safe to say that the earth is just over 6,000 years old. Therefore, dinosaurs could not have lived a million or billion years ago like many scientists believe. Just didn’t happen, in fact it’s not possible—because the earth is just not that old.
