Just recently I received a package in the mail. I knew exactly what it was when I saw it, and was super excited to open it up! It was my package from TreeSmart. They had previously asked me if I would review their products. I immediately said yes.
They sent me these items:
–Mini Colored Pencils in a Tube
–Recycled newspaper pencils
–6″ Recycled Newspaper/Plastic Rulers
What is great about TreeSmart is that all of their products are made from recycled materials. I love how their pencils are made from rolled newspaper. It is really interesting how TreeSmart makes their pencils. I mean, so much newspaper gets thrown away. So much is wasted. Why not use it? TreeSmart does just that. It is such a smart idea….and one that works! I am really impressed with their pencils. They are strong and sturdy (hard like wood), and honestly, they seem to sharpen a whole let better than wooden pencils do. They sharpen quickly, and without waste. You know what I mean. I wasn’t sharpening and sharpening over and over to get the perfect point.
My youngest daughter used all of the pencils, and really liked them. They are non-toxic, a nice quality and the colored pencils are nice and bright. She of course claimed the ruler for herself. 😉
I definitely recommend TreeSmart products. They are a company in Oregon that has been in business since 1998. They have some great products-all made from recycled materials. Soon, they will have new products available, like supply boxes and pencil cases made from candy wrappers! Can you imagine? I am really excited about that, and cannot wait to see those! 😀
