The Simple Woman's Daybook- October is ending

I wanted to try something new. I’ve seen other bloggers participating, and thought I’d give it a whirl! It seems pretty interesting to take a peek into another person’s day and to also share a peek into mine as well. 🙂

FOR TODAY

Outside my window…it is cloudy. It could rain today, or snow if it’s cold enough.

I am thinking…I need to make more coffee. I have lots of “online” things to do today.

I am thankful…for my family that God has given me. I am blessed.

In the kitchen…I’m planning to throw a meal in the crock pot. Maybe white chicken chili! 🙂

I am wearing…a tank top and yoga capris. {I love yoga pants!}

I am creating…a shaggy rug from a latch-hook kit. Remember those?

I am going…to the Awana Fall Festival tonight with my girls!

I am wondering…what my parents and sister are doing right now in Heaven….I miss them.

I am reading…The Chasm: A journey to the edge of life {by Randy Alcorn}

I am hoping…to be able to see family {in Georgia} again soon!

I am looking forward to…Christmas time! I love Christmas music and decor.

I am learning…to not procrastinate and how to use my time wisely. It seems there is always so much to do, and I get overwhelmed at times.

Around the house…my home is decorated for fall, but it won’t be long until they are replaced with Christmas decorations {gasp!}

I am pondering…thrift shopping today {I love it..LOL!}
