Be Carton Smart with Tetra Pak!

The holidays are upon us, and every year I have favorite go-to recipes that I love to make and enjoy. I head to the grocery store, buy my ingredients, and it always seems that I am reorganizing my pantry to make things fit. Honestly, it's a huge pet peeve to have to constantly re-arrange things.

Recently I was excited to be able to try some great items {for cooking with} from Pacific Foods. Their packaging is great because they were all in Tetra Pak cartons. They are easy to store, and stack, and are even reclosable.

Let me just say that the pumpkin puree packs a punch! I used it to make pumpkin caramel pancakes this morning, and had some left over. I really have to say that I love this packaging, way more than pumpkin pureee in a can. It saves space, and the flavor of the Pacific Foods pumpkin puree is so rich and delicious! It was easy to store as well.

What I like about the Tetra Pak cartons:

• First of all, the great thing about these carton's is the fact that they retain the flavor of the food and the nutrients, as well. These preserve the flavor without the use of preservatives.
• They are made from 70% paper {a renewable source} from selectively harvest regrown trees that are FSC {Forest Stewardship Council} certified.
• They are space saving, and easy to store and open.
• They are recyclable

Back to my breakfast recipe! I made Pumpkin Caramel Delight Pancakes. They were so good, and a big hit this morning!

I first mixed up my ingredients for my pancakes, then added some caramel bits to the mix while cooking. It was hard not to eat those caramels, by the way! 😉

Here is the finished recipe-all ready to eat! {with whipped cream, caramel syrup and pecans}

Look at this deliciousness. Perfect for a holiday breakfast. Just think Thanksgiving morning! 😀

Just think of how many great recipes you can make with ingredients in a carton! Spacesaving, smart, and with less waste! I certainfly felt smart using these products. I felt like the taste was amazing, and that I was doing a little something extra for the environment by not having cans to toss out.
