Every year, I go through trying to decide on a design for our family Christmas card. {I’ll address that in another post.} 😉
I always like to add a Bible verse in our card, after all, Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus Christ-our Saviour and God’s promises.
So….. I thought I would list a few Bible verses that would be perfect for a Christmas card. Any of these would complete your card! Enjoy! 🙂
– John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
– Matthew 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
– Matthew 1:21 “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
– Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
– Luke 2:11 And the angel said unto them, “Fear not: Behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people, Unto you is born this day a Savior which is Christ the Lord.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:15 “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”
