Saving & Tossing

I’m one of those people that likes to saves things. Mementos, cards, etc..Then once it piles up, I turn into a “tosser”. I toss it right into the garbage. I don’t do that with everything…but sometimes I’ll ask myself, “Why did I save this?”

I just spent hours, I mean, FOREVER in my office purging things. It just seems like I have so much stuff. Little things. Little annoying things. Papers. So much stuff! Then I have about 20 different boxes for things. Why?

I am in the process of redoing my office closet. You see, my office is not only my office, but a craft room, a reading room… you name it. So I have to store LOTS of things. Family papers, craft supplies, paints, office supplies, family photos, etc.. The list goes on….

So I ask. How do you save/store things? What do you decide to toss or keep? Do you keep cards from years past, or toss them? Maybe just keep the sentimental ones? Do tell, because I need to know. I’m going crazy over here. Please say I’m not the only one..LOL! 😀

By the way, I took the closet doors off for easier access. What you can’t really see is the boxes all piled up on that top shelf.

I have been working on organizing and redoing the whole office, but the closet needs the most work!

How does your office/storage room/craft room look? Are you willing to share photos? Mine is driving me batty. I know it will be lots of work just trying to sort out everything and have a place for everything that makes sense. Not just thrown into a closet…haha! It didn’t start out that way, but to get it out of the way, that’s what happens.
