Barefaced Dead Sea Mud Mask

Oh how I love my beauty products! I’m sure you all know this by now. 😉
I love trying new things and never pass up an opportunity to do so. As you have probably seen in past reviews, I have been quite impressed with products that have ingredients from the Dead Sea. That brings me to my next review!

Barefaced Dead Sea Mud Mask

This mud mask is enriched with organic ingredients and is proven to improve the feel and appearance of your skin. I HAD to try this. 🙂

It claims to:

– Tone, tighten and improve skin texture.
– Exfoliate, unclog and purify pores. Help rid your skin of blackheads and imperfections.
– Draw out unseen excess oils and impurities.
– Moisturize and stimulate skin collagen to help fight wrinkles.
– All natural and organic ingredients. Paraben free.

When I first opened it, it definitely looked like mud for sure. 😉 It was a tad watery, so it wasn’t overly thick. It smelled a bit like mud, too…but then again it is mud. Haha! I would not say that it smelled bad, though.

So first of all, I cleansed my face, then applied the mud mask all over my face–careful not to get it in my eyes or on my lips. I let it stay on for 15 minutes. You could definitely feel it drying on your skin because I could feel my my skin getting tight. After rinsing, my skin felt really nice. It was soft, and looked clean and clear.

I will definitely continue to use this, once a week. I am confident that it can help with my breakouts along my jaw area, and help with the parts of my face that are dry. There is something about a mask, a mud mask especially that makes you feel like you’re totally pampering yourself. 🙂
