Blogging through the Bible

Just recently I started a new Bible Study. It’s called “Blogging Through the Bible”. You can read more about it here. I started a bit late, but only because I just found out about it. I am LOVING it!

Right now, we are on Genesis, reading a chapter a day. {Genesis 1-35} I am really enjoying this. Not only reading it, but also writing down a passage from each chapter, what I take from it, and how I can apply it.

What is great about this Bible Study is that there is no sign ups or anything. I can do this myself on my own time. I have found that I look forward to my study time every day. I’ll freely admit that in the past, it seemed I was always so busy and really had to force myself to have “quiet time” with my Bible and pen & paper.

This Bible study has really got me motivated. I actually created a Prayer Journal and now use it with this Bible Study. It has sections. Sections for “Bible Studies”, “Daily thanks–what I am grateful for”, and more. I have really enjoyed using it! 😀 More on that later! 😉
