As the name implies, fractionated coconut oil is a fraction of the full spectrum of the natural oil. A refining process leaves behind 100% saturated oil loaded with beneficial medium chain triglycerides.
The resulting product remains liquid, even at room temperature. It’s highly stable as a result of the refining distillation process, so it’s shelf life is nearly indefinite. It’s odorless and colorless and penetrates the skin quickly and completely. Unlike other oils, fractionated coconut oil will not go rancid over time.
The oil is also an excellent emollient, meaning that it softens and soothes the skin. It’s an excellent moisturizer for the skin and scalp, but doesn’t leave the skin greasy – so it’s well suited for mixed complexions. Fractionated coconut oil leaves the skin feeling moisturized, wrinkle free and hydrates even the most sensitive skin because it’s chemical free.
Lastly, fractionated coconut oil, (cocos nucifera), is inexpensive relative to the benefits and volume of oil typically packaged, meaning that it has exceptional value. It’s the perfect way to extend more expensive essential oils, as a carrier oil. It’s also used for diluting perfume oils for aromatherapy, and used right out of the bottle as the best massage oil for all types of massage techniques.

I am so impressed with this coconut oil. Lots of oils say non-greasy, but this one really means it! It absorbs right into your skin quickly. I don’t feel like I am oily or greasy at all after applying this! Coconut oil can be used for so many things. For moisturizing the skin, for homemade soap or deodorant recipes, lip balms, and so much more. Seriously, look it up. Coconut Oil is great.

This is unscented, so you can use this carrier oil with other essential oils, beauty products, cosmetics, or in massage therapy.. The possibilities are almost endless! 😉
