Garden Things

Just wanted to share a few garden updates and pics!

The enclosure has kept out the bunnies. Yay! I added chicken wire around the bottom and that definitely did the trick. They still visit my yard pretty frequently. A few times they were looking for a way into the enclosure, but were not able to get in. Unfortunately they found a couple of my potted dwarf sunflowers that were on my patio and chewed them up. 🙁 I guess I thought since the pots were larger and had a bit of yard decor in the pot, that it would deter them. It did not. Lesson learned. :/

The only sunflowers I have growing this year, are these, in a pot of my deck. I cannot wait to see them bloom. As you can see in the pic, I have strawflowers in the same pot as well. They are so beautiful and unique, I just love them!

I also snapped this pic of these 2 beautiful mourning doves hanging out on my fence. 🙂
