It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 2:22-23
A $5 deal…for the kids!
My girls and I love crafts and anything where we can create. In the past we have made homemade crayons from broken crayons–via the oven. I love how they turned out and will most likely do that again…BUT, I found this Crayola Crayon Maker for $5!
I was curious about this when I saw it in the store, but did not want to pay the retail price on it. A little high, if you ask me.
Well, I bought this from a lady that was selling it on a local buy/sell group that I am on. It looked fun, and the girls and I were excited to try it out.
Yesterday we tried it out, and made some super swirly crayons with it. It was very easy, and fairly quick. Quicker than I thought. The crayons color nicely, too! Needless to say I am happy with the deal that I found. The girls want to make more crayons again today!
I’d recommend it if you could find it on sale…or if someone is selling one at a discounted price. It makes regular shaped crayons..so if you wanted to do fun shapes like hearts or circles, make your own in your oven at home. 😉
