Do you remember those latch-hook kits?

Latch hook kits. Those are a blast from the past, right? Here’s the thing. I remember way back when… I believe I was in 1st or 2nd grade maybe? Could’ve been 3rd….I’m not sure. I went to a private school, and all of the older girls were doing latch hook kits, making beautiful things! I remember my mom buying me one, and I was so excited! Well, I could never figure it out! I just couldn’t do it. Maybe I was too young to understand how to use it..but that was that. I don’t ever remember getting it done.

Fast forward….YEARS later. I am 42 years old now. I see a latch hook kit in the store (as I have many times before). I decide that this is the day for me to learn this! I can do it. I am a grown woman now! How hard can it be?

I can tell this will be time consuming, but I am determined to finish this little project. It’s actually really easy! Yay! 😉

I’ll post again when I am done, so that you can see the finished project. I can hardly wait to see it finished! I’m excited that I can do this—haha!
