I am so excited to be able to review (Get to know) Jesus! This book is a great teaching tool for kids. First I’ll list my favorite things about this book, then elaborate more. 😉

-Timeline: It features a timeline from when Jesus was born all the way up until he ascends into heaven.
-beautiful art as well as real photos: The pictures in this book are beautiful (and so colorful.) There are also real photos of places, like the Mount of Olives, and more.
-maps: I love that there are maps to show where these important events took place.
-definitions: there are places in the book that tells the reader what a word means… great for a younger child that may not be sure of the meaning of the word.
-it is the perfect size for a child: It is a paperback book that I feel is the perfect size for kids. Not too large or bulky, but still durable!

I have been super pleased with this book. I am always looking for quality books for my children, especially books about Bible events. I feel that this book is a great way for kids to learn about Jesus, his life, and how he lived his life. As well, as what he did for all of us. It is a beautiful, well written and well explained book for kids, that I recommend. We will definitely be on the lookout for the other books in the series. 🙂
