Remember all of those super fun quizzes in those teen magazines from so long ago? I used to love to take those quizzes! Today, I don’t think I would let my daughters read those teen magazines, just because I feel that they don’t send a positive message out to young girls. In fact, a lot of them, I feel are inappropriate.
So, when I saw this book: Big Book of QUIZZES by FaithGirlz, I was excited! I thought that it might be a book with a mix of fun and with a positive message for young girls.
First of all, this book is really cute! There are lots of eye-catching, colorful graphics in it. The content is really fun, too! {Nothing inappropriate here!} I also like that there are Bible verses referenced throughout the book, as well. 😀
For example, some sections are:
“Would You Rather”
“Pick out your Personality”
“Pets Mini Quiz”
“Are You a Good Friends”
…and many more!
My {oldest} daughter is 9 years old, and I didn’t come across anything that I though was too “grown up” for her. There is a little section about boys and crushes, and dating–which would be for older girls, but it is innocent and fun. Nothing serious or like I said before, inappropriate. 🙂
This was a fun book-and if your daughter is a teen or tween and loves books and fun quizzes, then this would be a good choice.
