I was so excited for the opportunity to review this Bible. I knew the moment that I saw it, that I just had to have it. I love to collect and review different Bibles of all kinds. Different translations, study Bibles, kids Bibles and more. This Bible to me, is so unique in the fact that you get so many photos of different artifacts that really bring the word to life.

I really like the different touches added to this Bible along with the color photos and maps. Lots of footnotes, a timeline of Biblical history…and much more. In the very beginning of the Bible there is a section, “What is Archaeology”, and it also lists the 10 most significant discoveries in the field of Archaeology. I really love this! So much information! 🙂
Also at the beginning of each book of the Bible, it gives you theme and authorship, contributions from Archaeology, an outline of the book and a map of that particular area as well.

This Bible has it all to really help you learn about Biblical times in a very informative and visual way. I really love to see the color photos of the artifacts while reading…it really pulls it all together.

The Archaeology Bible has a nice sturdy hard cover, and comes in the double column paragraph format, {as seen in the info above.} It does not come with a ribbon bookmark. That is not a dealbreaker for me as I am sure it isn’t for a lot of others, but I do know that most Bibles do come with at least one. This one does not.

I will say that I am very impressed with this Bible! It is different than any other Bible that I have and I am really enjoying it.

This Bible is available now on Amazon.com as well as various other retailers like ChristianBook.com. Thank you for reading!

Thank you to Crossway for sending me a copy of the Archaeology Bible for review. 😀
