It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

When you suffer with anxiety, it can really suck. Having to deal with intrusive and consuming thoughts can really rule your life. It’s something that so many of us experience yet tend to suffer alone. Yet, when you really want to live a healthier life and you are determined to be in the best possible place, you have to be able to work on kicking your anxiety. This may help.
To start with, you may feel as if you want to run away from your worries and that not thinking is going to be the best thing. However, just pushing things away is only ever going to mean that they are still there lingering. So, instead, when and if you can, you’ll want to make sure that you are able to face up to your thoughts, let them in and try to understand them.

Or maybe you’d do better by starting off by opening up to someone you trust about how you’re feeling? It could be a close family member or friend – or maybe someone that’s a little away from it all so that you feel more comfortable? Talking about it often really helps.
It’s also a good idea to remember that the mind and body are often connected. And if you are overworking the body or filling it with junk, it could be contributing to your anxiety. So think about changing your habits and maybe moving a bit more to see if this helps.

As a step on from that, you may then also want to consider what you can do to keep your mind calm. Because it’s often the thoughts that you need to control. Running a bath, meditating, reading, using CBD, from somewhere like bloomfarmscbd.com, could all work for you. You just need to try different approaches to help.
Now, there are lots of different things you can do to make sure that you stay calm after you’ve experienced the anxiety or when you feel it coming on. However, it would be much nicer if you would be able to nip it in the bud entirely, wouldn’t it? And that can only happen if you start to work out what your anxiety triggers are. This can take time and may be tough for you to do, but it can also help you to stop the anxiety altogether.
Finally, you may find that you want to be able to speak to a professional about what’s going on. Sometimes, you can work through different anxieties on your own – and it can work out quite well. Yet, that won’t always be the case. In fact, you may need to speak to a therapist to understand your triggers, work through the thought patterns, and discover exercises and practices that can help you to regain control.
